Listing information: property/service details, price or rent, area, description, your name and phone number, and any photos or videos you choose to upload.

Requirement information: what you're looking for, preferred area, budget, timeline, and your contact details.

Communication: when you enquire about a listing, your message and contact details are shared with our team to route the enquiry over WhatsApp.

3. How We Use Your Information

To match property/service seekers with owners and contractors;
To verify listings and accounts (including confirming payment for a Verified badge);
To contact you on WhatsApp, phone, or email about your listing, requirement, or enquiry;
To maintain and improve the Platform, and to prevent fraud or misuse.

4. Where Your Information Is Stored

Your data is stored and processed on secure, industry-standard cloud infrastructure, protected with access controls and encryption in line with standard industry practice.

5. What We Never Show Publicly

Your phone number is never displayed on the public website — every enquiry is routed through Doonivas's own WhatsApp number, and our team connects you with the other party directly. Your account details are never shown on any public listing.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

With our internal team, to review listings and route enquiries;
With the other party to a specific enquiry (e.g., a seeker and an owner), limited to what's needed to connect them;
With trusted service providers who help us operate the Platform (such as our hosting and data-storage infrastructure), strictly to provide the service;
If required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Doonivas or our users.

7. Your Rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop processing it, by writing to contact@doonivas.in. We will respond within a reasonable time and take reasonable steps to verify your request before acting on it.

8. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, unless you request deletion earlier or the law requires us to keep it longer.

9. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed at, and should not be used by, anyone under the age of 18.

10. Cookies & Tracking

The Platform does not currently use third-party advertising or analytics cookies. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy accordingly.

11. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, and your phone number is never revealed publicly. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Third-Party Links

Our Platform may link to third-party services such as WhatsApp. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third-party services — please review their own policies.
